How your data is handled

We use CloudFlare's network to deliver this website's content to you, you can find their CloudFlare - Privacy Policy along with CloudFlare - Terms of Use by clicking on the respective links.

How Taskiac handles your data

• Completed homework is deleted 2 weeks after the due date.
• Homework tasks and titles are stored encrypted using a key unique to you.
• Notification data containing these titles may traverse third party push services such as Apple's push notification services.
• Your account, if deleted, is immediately removed from all databases, including all records of homework, settings, and push subscriptions.
• When a task is deleted, it cannot be recovered.
• Your time zone information is used to time notification distribution correctly for you.



Information stored by Taskiac:

• User information: Username (Plaintext), Password (Hashed + Salted), User ID.
• Homework tasks information: Title (Encrypted), Description (Encrypted), Due Date, Completion Status.
• Push notification information: Your unique push notification key is linked to your user ID when you request push notifications.
• Emails, IP addresses, and other potentially revealing information is not stored (unless a user inserts it themselves into a Task or username).
